Magnesium
deficiency at its severest may look similar to potassium deficiency
with scorched leaf margins. More characteristic is a fading of the
green color at the tips of the older leaves progressing towards
the base and midrib of the leaves.

Calcium deficiency
is rare in orchards but when present they appear as an upward cupping
of the leaf margins in the younger leaves first.
